Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad said the government’s foreign policy as demonstrated by its participation in the Arab summit reflects the failure of state institutions and the prioritization of partisan politics over Lebanon’s national interests.

“How can a failing government on the domestic level ask Arab countries and the international community for support?” Moawad tweeted.
