The Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF) has participated in the sixth annual Corporate Social Responsibility Forum that was organized by CSR Lebanon at the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut under the patronage of Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh.
Entitled “How Social Impact Influences Corporate Success,” the forum welcomed more than 20 organizations from north Lebanon and Akkar within the framework of a cooperation agreement signed between RMF and CSR Lebanon to bolster the role of civil society organizations in north Lebanon.
The cooperation agreement aims to facilitate the implementation of a European Union-funded project entitled “Enhancing CSOs in the North and Akkar for Sustainable Development”.
CSR Lebanon CEO Khaled Kassar praised the foundation for its contributions to social development across Lebanon, saying the CSR Lebanon-RMF partnership aims to empower the Lebanese to remain on their land, a slogan that lies at the core of the RMF’s mission.
For his part, RMF Director General Nabil Moawad said the partnership will bolster sustainable development in north Lebanon.
