The President of the Independence Movement, Michel Moawad, saw that the return of the phenomena of kidnapping threatens the foundations of the State and the start of the new mandate, and it hampers the efforts put to revive Tourism. The State should act with an iron fist against this organized crime.

In a tweet, Moawad said:
“What is required is to free Saad Richa, enforce the law, and bring the perpetrators and their protectors to justice. The kidnapping network must be disintegrated once and for all.”
