The president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad called for putting the ‘President René Moawad Airport’ into operation.

In a tweet on his Twitter account, Moawad said:
“Putting the ‘President René Moawad Airport’ into operation is a needed requirement. It is a strategic step first for Lebanon and second for the North. We ought to deal with this demand with firmness and serious planning.”
