“For the first time in history, a Lebanese film, ‘The Insult – القضية رقم 23’ has been selected in the final round of nominations for the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ Oscar!
Congratulations to all the Lebanese, and to those who participated in this remarkable work, contributing to carry Lebanon’s name to the international scene, in particular film-director Ziad Doueiri and my friend Antoun Sehnaoui.”
