“Lebanon and the Arab world lost today an icon in Arabic literature, who embodied, through her immortal writings, the values of family and Lebanese villages roots. Despite the many difficulties that she had to face, she tirelessly fought for freedom and gender equality. Farewell Emily Nasrallah.”
