The project, which is funded by the European Union, is being implemented by BIAT, the Rene Moawad foundation, Digital Opportunity Trust-Lebanon (DOT) and local development agency MADA.

Alongside female entrepreneurs, representatives of farmers’ associations and women committees in north Lebanon participated in the program.

The program is aimed at helping female entrepreneurs benefit from available funding for local initiatives.

The funds will be available to buy raw materials and packaging products as well as maintenance of machinery.
