The Student Club has organized the “think fast, drive slow” two-day rally paper in its 31st edition with the participation of Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad and head of Zgharta’s municipality Chehwan al-Ghazal Moawad.

Tens of individuals took part in the rally paper including Moawad’s wife, Marielle who got behind the wheel of car number 31.

The rally paper, which spanned through the towns of Zgharta, Bshara and Koura, was aimed at raising awareness on the importance of road safety and featured general knowledge questions that tested the cultural and intellectual skills of participants.

Team 777, which included Emile Yammine, Rene Moawad and Elie Moawad won the first prize of $5000.

Team 9, which included Michel and Issam Moawad, Bakhos Douaihy and Wissam Moawad came in second place and won $3000.

George, Charbel and Richard Moawad came in third place and won $2000 while Jean Jacque and Vanessa Yammine ended the rally in fourth place.

The rally paper was followed by an outdoor party at Ehden Club where Singer Joe Achkar performed until early morning hours.
