The Rene Moawad Foundation organized education sessions to help improve the learning skills of 57 children including 35 Lebanese and 22 Syrians registered at public schools in the Tabbaneh neighborhood of Tripoli.
Teachers at the Rene Moawad Foundation-Center for Working Children organized homework coaching sessions to help children secure better school grades particularly those who scored lower during the period of security clashes in the city.
Among the children that participated in the program, Mohammad al-Rashid, Ahmad Saqr, Nour al-Ali, Ahmad Saleh, Mustapha al-Siraj, Abdel Rahman Abdelaal, Fatima Shahoud, Nahla and Bushra Ako ranked first in their exams.
The coaching sessions were part of a child labor prevention program funded by the US embassy in Beirut.
