The Rene Moawad Foundation has organized a workshop on food production and packaging as part of  a project to improve the livelihood for underprivileged women in North Lebanon.

The project, which is funded by the European Union, is being implemented by BIAT, the Rene Moawad foundation, Digital Opportunity Trust-Lebanon (DOT) and local development agency MADA.

30 women from the agricultural cooperatives of Kfarhabo and Qobayyat participated in the workshop that focused on food manufacturing and packaging in line with international standards on quality control.
