The Atayib al-Rif organization has held a workshop on food safety and packaging at Kfarhabo town as part of a larger project aimed at improving the livelihood for underprivileged women in North Lebanon.
The project, which is funded by the European Union, is being implemented by BIAT, the Rene Moawad foundation, Digital Opportunity Trust-Lebanon (DOT) and local development agency MADA.
The workshop that was attended by women from the farmers agricultural cooperative featured training on how to prevent food contamination, packaging tips and hygiene instructions.
