Women entrepreneurs from the Rene Moawad Foundation have participated in a forum organized by Fair Trade Lebanon. The participation of the foundation in the forum is part of efforts aimed at improving the livelihood for underprivileged women in North Lebanon, a project funded by the European Union and implemented by BIAT, Digital Opportunity Trust-Lebanon (DOT) and local development agency MADA.
The forum, which was held in Dbayeh, brought together 12 COOP from across Lebanon, to showcase more than 3500 food products.

Fair trade is a social movement whose stated goal is to help producers in developing countries achieve better trading conditions and to promote sustainability.
