The Rene Moawad Foundation celebrated Friday Independence Day in a ceremony organized by the social committee of the Technical Institute.
The ceremony was attended by the Director of Rene Moawad Technical Institute Toni Al-Aam, academic officials and students.
Al-Aam said despite the current challenges that Lebanon is facing, the institute still believed in a better future.

“We are determined to overcome obstacles because we believe in our freedom and independence,” he said.
Al-Aam recalled former President Rene Moawad’s moderate stances and his commitment to defending Lebanon’s sovereignty and independence.
Al-Aam stressed that President Moawad sacrificed his life to defend Lebanon, saying it was no coincidence that he was assassinated on Independence Day.
