Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad has paid tribute to former Ambassador Mohammad Chatah and lamented the lack of a project that unites the March 14 coalition.
“I participated in the second anniversary of Mohammad Chatah’s assassination only out of loyalty to the values that he upheld and not out of conviction and belief in the political course that the March 14 alliance has adopted,” Moawad said in a tweet.
“All the speeches about unity among the ranks of the March 14 alliance are useless in the absence of a project that reflects the alliance’s principles,” Moawad said in another tweet.
“I wish the circumstances that followed the assassination of Mohammed Shatah remained the same as before,” he added.
