Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad urged the Lebanese government to support Dr. Ghassan Salameh who has announced his candidacy for UNESCO’s General Secretariat.

“Good luck to Dr. #Ghassan_salameh who announced his candidacy for the General Secretariat of the UNESCO. The government should step up efforts to lobby Lebanese abroad to support his nomination, which honors #Lebanon,” Moawad tweeted.
