Independence Movement Michel Moawad urged the Lebanese people to learn from their past mistakes on the 41st anniversary of the outbreak of Lebanon’s Civil War.

“April 13 is a lesson, not just a memory,” Moawad tweeted.

“Let’s learn from this memory to stand firm against the disintegration of state institutions, sectarian rhetoric, illegitimate weapons and corruption. Let’s build a state that protects us all,” he added.
