The Rene Moawad Technical Institute has celebrated the graduation of the third batch of its students during a ceremony held at the Antonine University in Mejdlaya.
The ceremony was attended by Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad and his wife Marielle, President of the Union of Zgharta Municipalities Zeenni Khair, Chairman of the Vocational and Technical Education department in north Lebanon Dr. Abdul Rahman Alqota, Maronite Social Fund Director Father Nader Nader, Antonine University Director in Mejdlaya Father Francesco Khoury along with representatives of the Marada Movement, Free Patriotic Movement, Lebanese Forces and civil society figures.
Speaking on behalf of the social committee at the Rene Moawad Technical Institute, Rabab Toulani said the institute was committed to the development of local communities and providing support to people in need.
Rene Moawad Technical Institute Director Tony Al Am said the organization was committed to promoting vocational education to ensure a better future for the youth.
“Success is not a matter of luck but the result of planning, perseverance, faith and cooperation,” he said.
A short video recalling the history of the institute and its achievements was presented at the ceremony before certificates were handed over to graduates.
