Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad urged people to participate in the memorial services of late Michel Sayegh that will take place at Mar Maroun church on June 25, 2016. Sayegh will be laid to rest on Sunday June 26.

“After a long journey of giving and love to his nation, the late Michel Sayegh will return to Zgharta and Saint Maroun church, a church that he insisted on creating,”Moawad tweeted.

“May this great man rest in peace,” Moawad added.
