Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad described Saturday the mountain reconciliation as a historic event that laid the ground for the revival of state institutions.

“The reconciliation by Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir and MP Walid Jumblatt is a key event that turned the page to a new chapter in the history of Lebanon and laid the ground for the revival of state institutions,” Moawad said.
