Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad said Thursday that the only solution to resolve Lebanon’s political deadlock is the revival of state institutions and the implementation of the Taif Accord.

“The only solution to Lebanon’s woes is to rebuild the republic as well as to implement the Constitution and the Taif Accord,” Moawad tweeted on the occasion of the International Day of Democracy.
