The Independence Movement has accused captain Nabil Awad, the head of the Internal Security Forces’ (ISF) Investigation Branch in north Lebanon, of abusing power and directing a militia that is committing violations against citizens.

The Independence Movement urged the ISF leadership and judicial authorities to hold Awad accountable for his violations of the law.
