The President of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad tweeted on his personal Twitter account, congratulating the newly elected President of the Tripoli Bar, following the elections held on Sunday November 13th.

Moawad wrote: “Congratulations to the new President of the Tripoli Bar, Abdullah El Shami, for his large victory in the elections which came thanks to the cooperation between the  Lebanese Forces, the Tayyar, the Future, the Kataeb, and of course the Independence Movement.

In a tweet that followed, he added: “I also salute the newly elected member of the Tripoli Bar Council, lawyer Zahra El Jisr.”
