On the third anniversary of the assassination of former minister Mohammad Chatah, the President of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad tweeted on his personal Twitter account:

“Three years have passed since the assassination of Mohammad Chatah. We miss you and we miss having the strong and sovereign State for which you were martyred.”
