The president of the Independence Movement Michel Moawad participated in the Sunday Mass at Bkerki, which was followed by the unveiling of the statue of the great Blessed Patriarch Estephan Doueihy, installed in the inner court of the Patriarchal Seat in Bkerki.

In a post on his personal social media accounts, Moawad expressed his pride for the unveiling of the statue and said: “Patriarch Estephan Doueihy is a founding pillar in our cultural and religious heritage. I am very proud by the statue which was unveiled today in the inner court of the Patriarchal Seat in Bkerki. Thank you Talal Doueihy for this wonderful initiative.”
