Moawad: “For you, O city of prayers, I pray”

Tweeting on his Twitter account, the president of the ‘Independence Movement’ Michel Moawad said:

“During this period of fasting, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem has been closed for the 3rd consecutive day…”

He added the lyrics of the popular Fayrouz song for Jerusalem:

“It is for you O city of prayers, that I pray.

For you, O flower of cities, with gorgeous houses,

O Jerusalem, O Jerusalem, O Jerusalem, O city of prayers, I pray.”
