President of the Independence Movement MP Michel Moawad received at President Moawad’s Palace in Zgharta the “Al Salam- Zgharta” club delegates headed by the club president Father Estefan Frangieh as well as some members of the club’s management committee and the players. During the meeting, the delegates congratulated Moawad on his election after which a detailed presentation was given to highlight the club’s achievements in recent years and its future plans to achieve more, and to lift the name of Zgharta Zawiya and Lebanon. They also discussed the means to support the club to achieve its goals in addition to the ways of developing sports in general at the Zgharta district level to the benefit of the new generations and guide youth to sports activities.Moawad also received a delegation of priests from the Zgharta Parish headed by the Patriarchal Vicar for the Bsharri, Zgharta and Ehden Parish, Bishop Joseph Naffah, who congratulated him and discussed regional and social affairs, concerns of the Parish and the means of reinforcing the parish’s activities in order to reunite the people of Zgharta.
