President of the Independence Movement MP Michel Moawad tweeted: “It is not possible for every Lebanese but to stand behind President Michel Aoun in supporting and backing what he said in his speech before the UN General Assembly, especially regarding the necessity of the return of the Syrian refugees and all that Lebanon has given, in addition to the risk of discontinued UNRWA support and its catastrophic repercussions on naturalization.”

He added: “Let us set our differences aside and unite as Lebanese behind the President of the Republic to resolve these two issues.”
