The Resigned member of the Lebanese Parliament and President of the Independence Movement, Michel Moawad, took to Twitter to comment on the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s claims that “Lebanon and Gaza’s rockets are all from our support and they are the frontline of our battle with Israel,” writing: “it is unacceptable that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard or anyone else turn Lebanon into a barricade for Iran’s defense. After the latest statement, there can be no doubt that Hezbollah’s weapons and rockets are there to safeguard Iran’s interests. This demands an immediate official Lebanese stance so that our devastated country does not turn into a rocket-launching platform in a war we have nothing to do with.”
