Independence Movement leader Michel Moawad met Tuesday a delegation of the Land Movement at his residence in Baadba. The Land Movement delegation headed by Talal Douaihy discussed with Moawad the amendment of the foreign ownership law.

“Our meeting with the Independence Movement leader is one of several meetings that we held with Christian leaderships to highlight our position vis a vis the draft foreign ownership law, which was proposed by the Justice and Administration parliamentary committee,” said Douaihy following the meeting.

Douaihy added that the Land Movement will meet with other Christian leaderships to further discuss the draft law.
