The President of the ‘Independence Movement’ Michel Moawad confirmed that he will participate in the 7-kilometer race at the Beirut Marathon.

Moawad, in an interview before the opening of the race, said: “The marathon provides a space of hope. There will always be hope in Lebanon.”

He added: “Despite all the difficulties facing Lebanon at the economic and political levels, Lebanon is still able to carry out a variety of activities. This shows that we still have stability.”
