On the occasion of the Independence Day, MP Yassine Jaber represented the three presidents to deposit a wreath of flowers near the memorial plaque standing in the exact location in Zarif, where President Rene Moawad was assassinated.
Her Excellency Mrs. Nayla Rene Moawad and the President of the Independence Movement Michel Rene Moawad attended the event, alongside MPs Robert Ghanem and Henry Helou, the dean of the consular honorary corps in Lebanon Joseph Habis, consul Salem Beydoun, and a gathering of family members, friends and citizens from Zgharta El Zawiyat.
